I received some helpful feedback from my questionnaire with 4 comments, all being different but I can gather an overall response in order to make a decision on the aspects of the student magazine.
Everyone said they would read a student magazine which is obviously helpful to start us off. Half the people that commented said they would prefer the magazine to be free, with the other two saying that they would bay between 50p-£.1.50. Judging by this, I think it will be better to have the magazine as free as more people would read it and it would be manufactured by the students so wouldn't cost a lot to make.
Everyone who answered the questionnaire decided they would like the student magazine to be directed at year 11-13's, the senior section of the college. This way there can be more variety of topics to discuss without having to worry if the younger students will understand it or if it would appeal to them. The unanimous result was that it should be targeted at both males and females, broadening the market.
Most of the people said bright, clashing colours would appeal to them, as this would make the magazine stand out. They also would prefer it to mainly contain topics of students, jokes and subjects of discussion among young people such as TV programmes. One commenter mentioned that it doesn't just have to include aspects of college life but more things like music and film as this would attract more young people. Another person asked a good question that I had left out of the questionnaire of how often the magazine would be published, so I will do a poll in order to see what my audience would want.
I am very pleased with the feedback as it was very useful in helping me to decide all the factors of the student magazine :)
